We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technician to join our friendly and professional team. The ideal candidate will have hands‐on experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of electronic security systems, with Integriti and Inception experience essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, program, commission, and service electronic security systems, including intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, PA and intercom systems.
* Cabling infrastructure installation and termination.
* Work with leading platforms such as Integriti, Inception, and other major security technologies
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs in a timely and professional manner.
* Complete documentation, reports, and compliance records accurately.
* Liaise with clients on-site and provide excellent customer service
* Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
Essential requirements
* Construction Industry Training Card (White Card)
* Open Cabling Licence (ACMA or ASIAL)
* Valid Queensland Driver's licence
* Current QLD Security Licence or ability to obtain.
* Current Working with children Blue Card or ability to obtain.
* Proven industry experience as an Electronic Security Technician.
* Integriti and Inception experience (mandatory). Programming ability on Integriti and Inception platform is preferred
* Strong technical knowledge of security, access control, and CCTV systems.
* Read and interpret floor plans and schematics
* Ability to work on a construction site and coordinate with other trades
* Technical and process minded with a keen eye for detail
* Great work attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
* Willing and able to learn new skills
Assessment Requirement
* The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their technical capability through practical and/or written skills tests.
(This ensures applicants can show real‐world experience with fault‐finding, programming, and commissioning.)
