About the role
* Contribute to the delivery of multi‑disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.
* Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues.
* Prepare equipment procurement packages, designs, calculations and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments.
* Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients.
* Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours).
* Basic management skills – be able to monitor workload; remain within assigned budget and alert supervisor if the budget estimate will be exceeded.
About you
* Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience in engineering consulting and EPC/EPCM projects in the mining and resources sectors.
* Design experience using S3D, HELIX, Rocky, Autopipe, PSFF, Hammer, etc.
* Project and/or site experience highly regarded.
* Sound understanding of current codes and standards including Australian and ASME.
* RPEQ or willing to work towards accreditation.
