**Your new role**
Reporting in to the GM, this role will lead the Australian marketing team of two well-known brands, along with localising the Global Strategy.
- Management of full P&L; for division, including driving and actioning measures to optimise profitability. Develop and adhere to budgets. Control marketing spend to Contribution Margin and Net Profit levels.
- Streamlined Supply Chain to protect our unique formalisations around the world - ensuring product quality
- Coordinated approach to launch into new countries and grow sales - sharing learnings and brand unification
- Focus on innovation and NPD allowing us to continue driving market growth
- Working with global teams to build out, and deliver to, the strategic pillars of evidence (clinical research); brand footprint (one brand, adopting local market characteristics, comms, creative consistency); supply chain optimisation (better buying and unified proprietary formula); product governance (portfolio evolution and optimal range by market); and brand expansion (new market entry e.g. LATAM expansion).
- Strategy design for optimum brand and category growth, including innovation within the brands to provide growth in new product segments, creating demand through local marketing activities, brand awareness
- Manage the Profit and Loss for each brand.
- 100 % responsibility for A & P and influence trade spend (in partnership with Sales) and COGs (with product supply).
- Deliver ongoing profitable growth for the division. This includes the development and implementation of effective marketing strategies and sales support.
- Leading a brand team and category/brand portfolio to achieve revenue and profit growth.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous senior manager experience (15 years experience in the field)
- Organisational leader who seeks to build capability within and outside of direct team
- In-depth understanding of VMS brands and retail channels
- Entrepreneurial self-starter with the drive and passion to grow the division - always looking for and identifying opportunities
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team and work effectively with colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A quick decision maker who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
