About the role
As an experienced Estimator you will oversee numerous aspects within Estimating working closely with Sales, Operations and Construction.
You will be responsible for;
* Leading the Estimating team to deliver high quality, timely and accurate outcomes.
* Ensure the Estimating team has the required capacity and capability to deliver against Estimating KPI's.
* Provide the team with Training & Procedures to ensure consistent application of approved Glenvill Processes, Procedures & Templates.
* Develop and analyse data to identify Cost and Margin trends and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement in Team Capability, Capacity, Process & Tools.
* Manage the preparation of detailed, timely, accurate & concise Custom Home Tenders for presentation to Clients that will deliver Margin outcomes consistent with Business objectives.
* Regularly review and maintain a Variation Price Book of costs on which Sales Estimates are developed to ensure currency and accuracy.
* Manage the creation of Production BOQ's and purchase orders relating to Contracts, Colour Schedules, Working Drawings, Engineering, Post Contract Variations, On-site Building Variations etc. and ensuring margins and client satisfaction are maximised.
* Manage the assessment and approval of all ETS Requests during Construction including critical review & scrutiny of all requests, detailed interrogation of Project documentation to assess validity and seek opportunity for Cost Reduction wherever possible.
* Regularly seek feedback from the Construction Team as to the accuracy of Estimating and effectiveness of Estimating Procedures.
* Provide Management Reports that accurately communicate the performance of the Estimating team and how their performance is impacting on Business Margins and timeframes.
About you

In order to be successful, you must possess:
* Strong experience within the construction industry specifically within Production and Sales Estimating (essential for this opportunity) –within the Knock Down Rebuild residential building space.
* You will possess a high level across certain software packages including DataBuild, TrueView/Blue Beam (Or similar), Click Homes and Microsoft Office (Excel).
* Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience leading an Estimating Team including offshore team.
* You are reliable, detail oriented, considerate and demonstrate a genuine understanding of teamwork.
You will deliver and lead a team with a mature approach, calm and efficiency. Working in a fun team, you will have a sense of humour. You will be able to prioritise with ease and deliver time critical outcomes amid numerous distractions and demands.
Beyond that, you are reliable, detail oriented, considerate and demonstrate a genuine understanding of teamwork.
