The Opportunity
Ryan Road Childcare & Swim School in Pakenham has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our incredible team!
As an integral part of the Mayfield team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.
* Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
* Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.
* Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
* Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
* Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
* Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.
You
* You hold aminimum of a Certificate III in ECEC (of ACECQA approved equivalent);
* Valid WWCC
* Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain);
* Working knowledge & understanding of Child Safe Standards;
* Working knowledge & understanding of NQF & EYLF; and a
* Passion for the Early Childhood sector - you will enjoy communicating with and building trusted relationships with children, their families, your teammatesand the wider community.
