About the Role
We are seeking individuals to provide support and care for clients with disabilities within their homes. This may include assisting them outside of the home at their request.
Key responsibilities:
* Providing personal care and domestic assistance
* Assisted movement using equipment such as hoists
* Support with daily life activities
* Access to the community
Valuable skills and qualifications:
* Problem-solving and creative thinking
* Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
* Reliability, compassion and empathy
Essential requirements:
* Working with Children Check
* National Police Certificate
* Driver License and full access to a vehicle
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Disability / Aged Care / Community Services (or working towards completion)
Desirable qualifications:
* Previous working experience in Disability / Community / Aged Care Support
* Knowledge of manual handling and ability to use a Hoist
