Production Operator/Machine Setter Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Operator/Machine Setter to join our team. This is a hands-on role operating and setting a range of production machinery used in the manufacture of wire thread insert fastening systems.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Production Supervisor and be part of a friendly, high-performing production team.
* About the Role:
* Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Prepare tooling (mandrels, cutters) using hand tools and bench-top equipment
* Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
* Ensure all safety and quality standards are met
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Operational experience with production machinery
* Familiarity with SOPs and quality control procedures
