Qualifications & Experience

* Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a premium or fine dining Japanese restaurant, preferably with sushi making experience.
* Food Cleanliness: Strong focus on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
* Leadership and Team Player Skills: Demonstrates a passion for mentoring and developing talented culinary professionals into future leaders, while maintaining a positive attitude and performing effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment.
* Effective Communication: Skills in fostering honesty and transparency, with the ability to provide timely updates.
* Health & Safety Commitment: Knowledge of Food Safety standards and WHS regulations.
