About the Position
We are seeking a strategic and driven leader to join our organization as Project Study Leader for a commercial mining project.
Working in a proactive and supportive team, you will promote business excellence using your broad range of skills in problem solving, technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement and value optimisation.
You will play a significant role in delivering business value through the development of superior safety, scope, cost, schedule, and quality outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the early-phase development of a mining project, ensuring alignment with business strategy, stakeholder expectations, and commercial viability.
You'll work cross-functionally with technical teams, commercial analysts, and external partners to deliver a robust investment case that supports value creation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and execution of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for a commercial mining project.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure project studies are commercially sound, technically feasible, and aligned with strategic business objectives.
* Oversee risk identification and mitigation strategies across technical, environmental, and financial domains.
* Prepare and present high-quality documentation and recommendations to senior leadership.
* Champion a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Experienced in conceptual and pre-feasibility studies, developing compelling, strategically aligned investment cases.
Collaborative mindset with excellent presentation and communication skills.
Requirements:
degree in engineering, science, business, or finance, with substantial project management experience.
Postgraduate studies in business/finance or project management are recommended.
