**About You**

You are an experienced, collaborative & driven People & Capability professional, with a passion for providing HR guidance to employees and leaders in our business. You will have experience in end to end HR activities and providing advice on complex matters in a timely and efficient manner. Naturally, you will have the ability to interact and develop strong relationships at all levels and a passion to develop and coach others in the team around specialist skill sets.

Your professional and engaging approach will allow you to support stakeholders and provide advice in the management of ER/IR cases, acting as an escalation point responsible for effective case management of complex issues.

**About the Role**

You will provide ER/IR advice to managers on a broad range of HR issues and provide P&C operational advisory support to employees and managers all around Australia, across all Serco divisions. You will support managers on performance management activities, whilst navigating risks and interpretating industrial instruments and policies.

You will proactively contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies, procedures and projects based on relevant legislation and contemporary P&C management practices. As a critical support to the business, you will act as a partner for Managers in working through performance and conduct challenges, supporting organisational changes, addressing employee grievances and other P&C advisory tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will have:_**
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- Experience within a similar generalist or business partner role in a multi-national organisation
- Ability to provide sound advice to managers on ER / IR matters and complex performance management activities
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities
- Advanced understanding and interpretation of Awards, EA's and the FairWork Act
- Knowledge of HR systems processes and tools
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check as an essential selection component for this role._
