We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced community care workers to join our team based from either the Mortlake or Port Fairy services.
The successful applicants for these positions will be undertaking duties with the aim of supporting frail aged people, people with a disability, and their carers to facilitate continued living in their own home.
To be successful in this role you will need
Qualifications
Essential
* A current driver licence
* Employee working with children check
* Certificate III or IV individual support, aged and disability services or equivalent
* Level 2 first aid (Provide First Aid)
Key selection criteria 1
* Knowledge and understanding of the needs of all frail aged people and people with a disability
Key selection criteria 2
* Knowledge and understanding of the needs of families in crises
Key selection criteria 3
* Understanding of OH & S /risk management situations when working in peoples homes and the community
Key selection criteria 4
* Ability to report and manage roster on mobile Apple device
