Pat-Group on behalf of Scooterama is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join their friendly and hard-working team located in Fitzroy North Vic.
A one-stop shop where you can find a huge selection of scooters and motorcycles from world's popular manufacturers from Iconic Brands Honda, Kymco, Lambretta, Peugeot and Fonz Moto Electric.
Responsibilities
* Perform regular scheduled maintenance service on a range of vehicle
* Listen to engine, examine vehicle frames to determine nature of malfunction or damage
* Engine and transmission replacement
* Repair or adjust vehicle subassemblies and other parts
* Dismantle engines and repair or replace defective parts
* Connect test panels to engines and measure generator output, ignition timing or other engine performance indicators
* Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
* Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
* Complete and maintain service and inspection documentations ensuring its compliance
* May respond to vehicle or equipment breakdown service calls
* Maintain a secure and clean work setting
Desirable traits and skills
* Solid mechanical knowledge on a wide variety of vehicle
* Mechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalent
* Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
* Strong communication skills
* Strong diagnostic abilities
* Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
* Must have great work ethics
Salary
Salary: Guaranteed annual earnings of at least $70,000 + Super
Salary: From $70,000.00 per year
