Senior Technical Engineer

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide high-level technical support for our products and services. This role requires an individual with a strong background in software development, DevOps engineering, or system administration. Experience with Consul and other service mesh technologies is highly desirable.

In this capacity, you will work closely with the global support team to resolve complex technical issues related to product implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for documenting solutions and procedures to ensure that they are accessible to all team members.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert-level technical support via phone, email, or online chat platforms.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for complex technical issues.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, guides, and knowledge bases.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of our products and services.
* Work closely with sales engineers, sales representatives, and technical account managers to ensure seamless handoffs and effective issue resolution.

Requirements:

* At least 5 years of experience in software development, DevOps engineering, or system administration.
* Strong understanding of container orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Red Hat OpenShift.
* Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ansible.
* Knowledge of Golang programming language and its ecosystem.
* Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud computing.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
