SeaLink Bruny Island, part of the nationally recognised SeaLink Marine & Tourism group, is seeking dedicated and safety-focused Deckhands to join our Marine Operations team. About the Role
As a Deckhand, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. From assisting with berthing and unberthing procedures to supporting passengers and maintaining vessel readiness, you'll be an essential part of the onboard crew.
This role involves:
* Assisting in the safe berthing and unberthing of vessels
* Handling ropes, wires, and rigging during marine operations
* Assisting passengers and vehicles during embarkation and disembarkation
* Maintaining the vessel's cleanliness, security, and operational readiness
* Supporting basic maintenance tasks and assisting the Engineer as required
* Participating in routine safety drills and emergency response procedures
* Maintaining open communication with other crew members and the Marine Manager

You are a reliable and safety-conscious team player who takes pride in your work and enjoys being on the water. With a strong focus on teamwork and customer service, you contribute to a positive onboard environment and ensure every journey runs smoothly. You're proactive, professional, and ready to take on the challenges of a dynamic maritime role.
