Our Host Employer is a well-established educational institution located on the Central Coast, known for its use of cutting-edge technology and a strong culture of learning and development. With over 150 staff and a dedicated IT department, they are now seeking a motivated Trainee IT Help Desk Support Officer to join their friendly and professional team.
This is an incredible opportunity to gain experience supporting a large user base in a dynamic school environment while developing your skills across a broad range of IT tools and systems.

A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
A National Police Check
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
Working full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
Providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to over 1,000 users
Supporting hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, projectors and phones
Logging and resolving help desk requests from staff, students, and parents
Supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
Assisting with student laptop program repairs and audits
Helping manage user accounts and device setup
Assisting with the rollout of new devices and maintaining IT asset records
Supporting mobile devices including Apple iOS and Android phones and tablets
Liaising with vendors for hardware repairs
Participating in regular mentoring and skill-building sessions
As part of this traineeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate IV in Information Technology through on-the-job training over a period of 24 months.
