Warehouse Supervisors are professionals who are responsible for overseeing the general operations of a warehouse and its staff. You are expected to operate a forklift on a daily basis as you do your normal warehouse supervisor tasks.

**Operation Management**
- Perform daily forklift activities.
- Perform and check all operations on site.
- Plan and establish work schedules and assignments to meet operational goals.
- Supervise and assist the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials.
- Enforce warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
- Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order
- testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
- Use of documents related to operation to check and fulfil orders.
- Take into account full implications of freight turnover, size, weight, and other factors when allocating warehouse space in order to achieve full warehouse optimization.
- Maintain inventory by conducting physical counts when necessary.
- Identifies discrepancies between inventory records and take action.
- Coordinates the warehouse efficient operations and assist Manager.
- Any other duties which the company requires related to all operations.
**General Management**
- Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic
- plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KPIs.
- Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles:
- Recommending improvements.
- Keeps neat, clean and safe the working environment.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
**People Management**
- Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Maintains good relationships with subordinates and colleagues by interpreting company policies, corporate values, policies, and procedures to workers and enhancing them; promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective team-work.
- Monitors and ensures compliance of the operations procedures and practices.
- Monitors the daily attendance of the workers (follow up & control daily absence and over time, etc.)
- Forklift license (essential).
