In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of digital marketing and stakeholder engagement initiatives to promote Queensland's skilled workforce and migration programs.
The role also provides high-quality operational support for the successful delivery of Queensland's approach to the National Innovation Visa and the State Nominated Migration Program.
Reporting to the A/Manager, Migration Queensland, this role's dual focus supports both strategic attraction and engagement outcomes and the integrity of Queensland's skilled migration initiatives.
As a Senior Project Officer You Will
Manage accurate, timely and engaging digital marketing and communications initiatives, in line with Trade and Investment Queensland's (TIQ) Global Business Brand and brand.
Manage the Migration Queensland website and social media presence, in line with TIQ brand and communications standards.
Develop and implement communications plans in clear, plain language to key to stakeholders.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities and strengthen industry and government partnerships.
Contribute to the delivery of Migration Queensland priorities, through the development of marketing materials and stakeholder updates.
Monitor, evaluate and report on the impact of marketing and communications activities, emerging trends and competitor analysis to inform continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Actively contribute to creating a positive and collaborative team culture that supports continuous improvement, shared learning, accountability and service excellence.
The Ideal Candidate For This Role (key Capabilities)
Demonstrated experience leading digital marketing and communications projects, including web content management and social media strategy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical or policy content into clear, engaging and accessible language relevant to intended audience.
Proven ability to plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities and events that build relationships and deliver outcomes.
Well-developed project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Sound understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, the Queensland Government's Digital Service Standard as well as Advertising and Marketing Communication Code of Conduct, brand management, and governance processes.
Strategic and analytical capability to assess engagement metrics and competitor activity to inform evidence-based improvements.
Models constructive and collaborative qualities that support a positive, high-performing and inclusive team culture under TIQ's four strategic pillars.
