We're now seeking a driven Project Manager to join our Wangaratta team and take the lead on a range of exciting and diverse electrical projects.
About the Role
As a Project Manager at Watters Electrical, you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of commercial and industrial projects — from planning and procurement through to execution and final delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll collaborate with clients, lead teams on-site, and manage budgets, timelines, and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Delivery: Oversee project planning, resource coordination, and delivery in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards
* Financial Management: Track project budgets, forecast labour and materials, manage cost controls, and prepare claims/variations
* Team Leadership: Supervise and support on-site teams, trades, and subcontractors to ensure performance and accountability
* Stakeholder Engagement: Be the key point of contact for clients, managing expectations and building strong relationships
* Procurement and Risk: Coordinate with suppliers, manage lead times, mitigate project risks, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
* Compliance and Safety: Uphold Watters' safety-first culture, ensuring all work complies with WHS and industry regulations
About You
We're looking for a motivated, practical leader with a trade background and strong experience in managing electrical or construction projects. You'll be organised, commercially astute, and confident leading teams and engaging with clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
* A Grade Electrician qualification essential, with minimum 3-5 years in the trade
* Experience in electrical or construction project management highly desirable
* Experience in managing budgets, timelines and teams
* Knowledge of safety compliance, regulatory standards, and risk management
* Experience using simPRO or similar systems preferred

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
