About Domestic Violence Reduction in NSW
Reducing domestic violence is a priority for the NSW government. Safer Pathway is a whole-of-government response designed to reduce threats to adult and children's victims of domestic violence.
The NSW Health department has a key role as an interagency partner in fortnightly Safety Action Meetings, which are a component of Safer Pathway.
About the Role Requirements
* You need a degree in social work from an accredited course that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* You must have an eligible NSW driver license.
* You should have demonstrated understanding of the current AASW practice standards as they relate to the position.
* You should be committed to maintaining a professional skill and knowledge base.
* You should have extensive clinical expertise in the areas of violence, abuse, and neglect.
