We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our site team and support the delivery of our Station Relocation project in Brisbane.

* Key Responsibilities:
">
* Assist with the upstream administration of contracts while dealing with correspondence, including notices of delay, EOTs, and variations to the client.
">
* Understand all commercial aspects of construction contracts and identify areas of financial risk.
">
* Cost control management, procurement of subcontractors, negotiation of commercial terms, and assessment of subcontractor claims.
">
* Prepare and submit head contract progress claims, monthly cost reporting, and forecasting.
">
* Liaise with the Project Manager and wider project team to ensure commercial risks are mitigated.
">
* Maintain all necessary registers, contractual documentation, and templates.
">

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on a significant infrastructure project. You will be part of a dynamic team working on the relocation of the current station down track to provide safer access to local amenities.

Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
">
* Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Administrator in the construction and engineering industry.
">
* Tertiary qualifications in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management.
">
* Experience in all stages of subcontract management, including preparation of scope of works, procurement, project launch, and close-out.
">
* Site-based engineering or construction experience.
">
* Ability to work independently against deadlines and collaboratively as part of a team.
">
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
">
* Excellent attention to detail.
