Maintenance Officer Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our maintenance team as a Maintenance Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment across all campuses.
You will take initiative to deliver high-quality service delivery in all areas of infrastructure and engineering operations including preventative, reactive and scheduled maintenance, and minor works programs.
Key responsibilities include upholding safe and reliable work practices, ensuring compliance with OH&S at all times and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
You will also ensure compliance with policies and protocols in procurement, storing and distributing supplies and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification;
* Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g. electrical, mechanical, carpentry);
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance-based role;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks;
* Current driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
