The Opportunity
We're looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to own and grow Kayla Itsines' social channels as an engine for reach, relevance, and revenue. You'll turn everyday moments into must-watch content, guide new women into the Sweat ecosystem, and build an engaged community that feels close to Kayla.
This is a unique chance to sit at the heart of one of the world's most recognised personal brands. You'll plan, produce, and publish content across various channels including Instagram and Facebook, creating authentic, engaging formats that feel unmistakably Kayla: inspirational, real, and full of value.
It's part strategist, part producer, part community lead, with a front-row seat to how a global fitness brand connects with millions of women every day.
What You'll Do
Strategy & Growth
* Lead the end-to-end social strategy for Kayla's channels.
* Balance content pillars across relevance, reach, growth, engagement, and conversion.
Content & Production
* Ideate hooks, self-shoot, brief editors, publish with pace.
* Optimise captions, CTAs, timing, and thumbnails per platform.
* React to cultural trends and product moments in real time.
Commerce & Campaigns
* Always connect social content to commercial outcomes including acquisitions, trials, retention.
* Collaborate across Sweat teams to deliver measurable ROI.
Community & Culture
* Celebrate the community by highlighting their stories, successes and voices across Kayla's channels
* Bring Kayla's community to life through events, workouts, and digital activations that deepen connection.
Leadership & Collaboration
* Lead and mentor a Content Creator, plus freelancers as needed.
* Present insights and bold ideas to Kayla, the Social Marketing team, and senior leaders.
* Protect brand integrity and family privacy while moving quickly in high-profile environments.
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves
* 5+ years in social/digital, with ownership of personal brand or creator-side channels.
* Proven end-to-end short-form content success (ideate, shoot, edit, publish, iterate).
* Strong commercial lens; able to show how content drives trials, subscriptions, and retention.
* Confident directing talent and comfortable self-shooting.
* Experience with native editors, CapCut/Adobe, YouTube Studio, Sprout and platform analytics.
* Gold Coast based, flexible for in-person capture and community events. Some travel may be required.
* Discretion, reliability, and pace in high-profile environments.
