Responsibilities
* Carrying out product development and designing product features/functions for new products, components or systems.
* Supporting the System Architect in the development of product features and functions.
* Contributing to the successful introduction of products into production and assist the cross functional team to achieve project goals.
* Cooperating with project team members on all issues required for successful completion of projects on time, in accordance with the project budget and to the expected quality level.
* Ensuring all development activities are performed in accordance with the companies' procedures as well as relevant international standards.
Requirements
* Currently enrolled in and have completed a minimum of 2 years towards a Software or Mechatronics Engineering Undergraduate Degree.
* Knowledge of requirement engineering and cascading requirements to other areas.
* Understanding test methodology and test design.
* Good understanding of Product Life Cycle (PLC) and Defect management lifecycle.
* Effective negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal including a strong focus on customer and stakeholder relationships.
* Excellent attention to detail, be able to prioritise multiple tasks, work well within a team.
* Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, including senior team members, while also working effectively individually.
