**About the Organisation**
This is a large Federal Government department. The Procurement and Corporate Services Branch support the agency's business areas by providing corporate, procurement and property services. The Procurement team is responsible for partnering with business areas to procure goods and services for the Agency.
**About the Roles**
The
**APS4 Procurement Officer** is responsible for providing advice, and support the research Corporate Services Branch.
The position will see you deliver quality administration, compliance and reporting outcomes, which are compliant with legislation and ensure value for money.
**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:
- Undertaking research and analysis activities and drafting initial documentation to support requests.
- Providing administrative support to the team and processing invoices and tracking spend against budget.
- Initiating drafting of requests and contract related documentation.
- Managing all master data from third party systems and within agency's system.
- Contributing to team planning activities and identifying opportunities for improvements.
- Providing support, training for ongoing system and data projects.
**Key Skills Required to excel in this role**:
- Willingness to learn and adapt, problem solving and self-management.
- Strong administrative experience.
- Previous Federal Government experience is desirable
- Demonstrate experience in invoices and tracking spend against budget.
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
- SAP Essentials experience and knowledge is desirable ( But not essential).
