Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic legal advice to the executive team, senior leadership, and the board across all legal domains.Serve as theprimary legal point of contactfor internal teams and external stakeholders, offering legal guidance, solutions, and document oversight.Function as theGeneral Counselfor operations in theUS, UK, Australia, and India, coordinating with external legal firms in each jurisdiction.Draft, review, and negotiate various legal agreements includingemployment contracts, NDAs, vendor and customer agreements .Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the organization's business operations and its legal documentation.Conduct legal research and support the company's litigation strategy when facing legal challenges.Develop legal directives and ensure documentation of corporate actions and board decisions.Ensurepreservation of corporate recordsand handle all necessarystatutory and licensing filings .Collaborate with external legal counsels on specialized assignments and matters.Leadformation of new entitiesand oversee the management of the organization'sintellectual property portfolio .Overseelegal due diligenceforequity fundraising, M&A, and internal audits.QualificationsAJuris Doctor (JD) degreefrom a recognized and reputed law school.Minimum4 years of legal practicein a law firm or corporate in-house legal department.Solid experience withfund investments, venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions .In-depth understanding ofcorporate governanceand corporate secretarial responsibilities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong familiarity with relevantbusiness laws, rules, and regulatory frameworks .Ability to navigate sensitive business issues with discretion and maintain confidentiality.PreferredPrior experience working inUS or international corporate law environmentsis highly desirable.View LinkedIn Job Posting#J-18808-Ljbffr
