**Theatre Technician**
**Multiple casual positions available**
**Salary: $45.18 per hour includes a casual loading plus 12% Superannuation.**

**_About the Roles _**
- As a Theatre Technician with Latrobe City Council, you will supervise the protected and efficient set up and set down of productions and ensures Occupational Health & Safety procedures are followed. You will provide exemplary and efficient services in all aspects of technical theatre and venue operations at Councils Creative Venues with a focus on Gippsland Performing Arts Centre. _
**_About You _**
- You will have experience and knowledge of stage production, stage management procedures and theatre etiquette. You will also have highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain good working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. _
**_You will need: _**
**_Essential _**
- _Experience working in a theatre or entertainment industry environment. _
- _Experience with dealing with technical production and artistic personnel. _
- _Knowledge of OH&S; regulations _
- _Current Driver's License _
**_Desirable _**
- _Current certificate of Electrical Safety/Test and Tag, Scissor Lift and Vertical Lift license _
- _First Aid _
- _Fire Warden Certificate _
- _Working Safely at Heights _
- _A tertiary qualification in Live Production, Audio, Lighting, Theatre or Multimedia _
