About the Role & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial (Contracts), the Contracts Manager oversees the full contract lifecycle for assigned contracts. This is a 12-month fixed-term role, with potential pathways for ongoing opportunities.
* Onboard and establish governance with Operators.
* Manage contract performance and compliance.
* Communicate escalations and risks promptly.
* Assess and seek approval for contract variations.
* Draft approval and board papers.
* Develop monthly reports for senior management and the board.
* Provide insights from operator engagement.
* Maintain accurate contract system information.
* Explore innovative procurement and management solutions.
* Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and safety.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, translating technical info clearly.
* Conduct critical analysis and contribute to process improvements.
* Adhere to governance and probity standards.
* Apply basic risk and compliance assessment skills.
Skills and Experiences:

* Proven experience in Contract Management, Project Management, or Procurement for complex infrastructure projects.
* Strategic leadership in contracts and management.
* Interest in energy transition and renewable energy.
