A boutique firm in Northern Virginia is seeking a dynamic Legal Assistant to support a busy team of trademark attorneys. In this role, you will play a key role in managing U.S. and international trademark matters, keep critical deadlines on track, support portfolio strategy, and assist with a variety of administrative and legal tasks. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file trademark applications and related documents.
Edit, proofread, and polish legal documents for accuracy and clarity.
Assist with portfolio maintenance, document organization, and attorney workflows.
Review and reconcile client and vendor invoices.
Perform legal research and compile data from multiple sources.
Maintain document databases and update client files.
Take ownership of special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.

What We're Looking for:
Experienced. You have at least 1-3 years of trademark experience, including filing with the USPTO.
Meticulous and precision-focused. You produce polished, error-free work and catch inconsistencies before they arise.
Efficient and process-oriented. You manage multiple deadlines with ease and keep attorneys informed and prepared.
Communicative. You are professional, responsive, and comfortable interacting with attorneys, clients, and vendors.
Tech-savvy. You are proficient in Word, Outlook, and Teams.
