The Economist Stream gives graduates the opportunity to apply their skills and work on a diverse range of economic projects with leading analysts in the Australian government.
* Commence full-time position in an Australian Government department or agency, with salary between $65,000–$80,000 per year
* Advance to higher classification and salary at successful completion of a 12-month program

About the Role
As an Economist in the Australian government, you will contribute to informing policies for Australians. This includes working across fiscal and monetary policies, budgetary policies, domestic and international economic situations, and forecasting changes in the economic environment.
The graduate program offers targeted training and development to progress skills, knowledge, and confidence as a valued member and contributor to the APS.

Requirements
