Are you an experienced manufacturing leader ready to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment? We are seeking a General Manager Manufacturing to lead our team in Heathwood, overseeing Quality Assurance, Post-Harvest Operations, and driving GMP compliance across the board.
About the Role
Embracing autonomy, you will be reporting to the CEO as the General Manager of Manufacturing. You will be responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing operations including quality assurance, post-harvest processing, and compliance within a TGA and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety, while driving and motivating a team of specialist aligning with our commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage strategic and operational manufacturing, QA, and post-harvest operations.
* Ensure full compliance with GMP and TGA, and other relevant industry standards.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
* Foster a culture of accountability and safety
* Drive and team engagement and motivation
* Collaborate with commercial and supply chain teams to meet business objectives.
* Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.
* Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring strong succession planning and staff development.
* Manage budgets, cost controls, and operational forecasting.
About You
* Proven experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role within a TGA and GMP regulated environment.
* Proven senior leadership in either pharmaceutical, plant-based medicine or food manufacturing
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, able to build high performance teams and culture.
* Commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
* Experience managing operational budgets and commercial performance.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
