Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior VMware Consultant with strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, and NSX. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage virtualized environments, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. This role requires deep hands-on experience with VMware technologies and a solid understanding of networking in virtualized environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and vSphere environments.
- Implement and manage VMware NSX solutions, including network virtualization and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex VMware and NSX issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide technical guidance and best practices.
- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of virtual environments.
- Assist in migrations, upgrades, and patch management for VMware infrastructures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Deep expertise in VMware NSX (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and management).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and firewall policies.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerCLI, Python, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- VMware certifications such as VCP-DCV, VCIX-NV, or VCDX.
- Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of storage technologies and integration with VMware environments.
