About the role:
As Ranger, you will be based at Shepparton and service a number of Parks and Reserves, most notably the Lower Goulburn National Park, Shepparton Regional Park and surrounding Reserves. This role will deliver in-park services and on-ground works such as maintenance of assets, infrastructure, and facilities and the field delivery of environmental projects.
We're looking for someone with:
* Demonstrated experience in self-management, customer service, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Sound ability in practical problem solving in field work or similar hands-on work.
* Ability to relate to and engage with the public - customer service and community engagement.
* Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to use bespoke applications.
* The availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
