About the role
The Senior RD&A Technologist will lead the creation of innovative beverage solutions to meet customer needs across multiple categories. This role involves developing new products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging expertise in taste technology to deliver exceptional beverage experiences.
Key responsibilities
* Leading the development of new beverage applications to support customers.
* Create new and innovative beverage products such as Carbonated Soft Drinks, Sports Drinks, Tea and Coffee beverages, dairy and nutritional beverages.
* Work together with a cross functional team to develop integrated beverage solutions across all category.
* Detailed understanding of the Taste collection relevant to the applications within the respective EUM
* Works with Taste team for evaluation of performance of Taste products in application
* Provides input on Taste collection needs
* Make recommendations to development and application team members on suitable Taste products for use in system development
* Links with other application groups to cross share knowledge
* Provides applications support for initiatives and Taste Technology promotions.
* Ability to work with the flavour analytical and sensory group
Qualifications and skills
* Bachelor / Masters / in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry or a related Applied Science
* 5 to 8 Years of Beverage R&D product development working experience with a proven track record
* Specialized in beverage flavour applications
* Experience in managing both internal and external relationships – Commercial / Sales team, General Management, Customers
* Must be able to taste and smell flavours and food products
