As a Support Worker, you will assist and support our clients in accordance with their NDIS plan, promoting a person-centred approach of 'choice and control'. Your daily duties may include:
* Assisting clients to develop life-skills in household duties and yard/home maintenance
* Transporting clients to appointments and/or shopping for and/or with client
* Supporting clients in building self-image and confidence
* Enabling clients in social and community participation
* Promoting independence and well-being
* Assisting clients with personal care and manual handling; including showering and bowel care
* Medical administration (if qualified)
* Administration, e.g. daily journal reporting
The location for work will vary depending on the client(s) and their needs within the area. We are currently recruiting for Leda, Western Australia and surrounding suburbs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
