We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Vacation Engineering Trainee to join our team in Tasmania.
This is a 12-week program designed for students studying Mining and Mineral Process Engineering, Metallurgy, Geology, and Information Technology and Computer Science.
The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in underground mining and surface operations, working closely with experienced professionals to develop their skills and knowledge.
The trainee will be responsible for:
* Supporting and actively participating as a member of the team
* Gaining a working knowledge of complex processing operations and underground mining
* Contributing to projects and day-to-day duties and tasks
* Learnto adhere to safety protocols and standards while collaborating with other team members
The ideal candidate will have a C class license and be comfortable working underground in a team environment. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
