About the Role:
Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a skilled Centre Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a small, 57-place centre that excels in creating a nurturing environment for children aged 15 months to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals that cater to the nutritional needs of Australian children, ensuring high standards of food safety at all times.
* Use creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
* Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Has experience in food preparation and cooking for large groups, preferably in a childcare or education setting.
* Is passionate about providing healthy meal options that promote child development and well-being.
* Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and parents.
