Job Opportunity: Food and Beverage Service Manager
This is a key role within our Conference and Events team, overseeing the efficient delivery of food and beverage service across large and dynamic events spaces.
* Provide clear direction, training, and hands-on leadership to Food & Beverage Attendants, leading by example to deliver high-quality service.
* Perform food and beverage duties, including order taking, food/beverage running, coffee making, and bar service.
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service and resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
* Oversee event operations, including set up, pack down, balance float, takings, and end-of-day reporting.
* Monitor and manage staffing roster levels and payroll efficiently.
* Support the management team in ordering stock, minimizing wastage, and managing inventory effectively.
* Evaluate procedures and policies for effectiveness and efficiency.
* Foster and maintain a safe and motivating work environment.
About This Role
* Previous experience as a C&E F&B Supervisor, preferably within a hospitality environment.
* Passion for the hospitality industry and service excellence with attention to detail.
* Leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of rostering and labor cost control, staff training, and development.
* RSA Certificate, essential.
* Ability to perform physical duties and present excellent grooming and personal presentation.
