Overview
Austek Roads, a proud Australian-owned company specialising in road maintenance, is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer to join our finance team. As part of Maas Group Holdings (MGH) - a dynamic and expanding organisation with over 1,800 employees and 450+ machines - you'll be working within a high-performing team that values initiative, accuracy, and collaboration. This role is based at our Arundel office and supports multiple entities across the business.
Responsibilities
Finance Operations
- Process high volumes of supplier and customer invoices
- Manage payment receipting and allocation
- Match invoices with dockets and ensure appropriate authorisation
- Perform monthly reconciliations for suppliers, statements, and intercompany transactions
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate supplier and customer records
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Manage credit applications and fuel tax credit calculations
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Use MYOB and Microsoft Excel for financial tasks
Administrative Support
- Provide general office administration as needed
What You'll Bring
- MYOB (AccountRight Premier), MEX, and TFO experience
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Previous experience in the road construction industries (highly regarded)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
