Producing a much-loved beverage iconic to Queensland, XXXX is a woven into QLD culture and one of Lion's flagship sites Based at our Milton brewery, this role sits at the heart of our operations, leading teams, keeping production moving, and ensuring every shift runs safely, smoothly and to plan.
We're on the lookout for a Team Leader (Glass Line) to join our team on a fixed-term, full time contract from March 2026 to May 2027. Reporting into the Packaging Area Leader, this role plays a critical part in our packaging operations, supporting a rotating day and afternoon shift roster.
In this role you'll be a leader on site, trusted with autonomy, empowered to make decisions, and responsible for setting your team up for success.
Day to day you'll combine people leadership with operational excellence. You'll:
* Lead and coach a team of skilled Brewery Technicians and trades
* Take ownership of shift decision-making across safety, quality, people and performance
* Plan and coordinate production to ensure smooth handovers and seamless operations
* Champion quality best practice, food safety and compliance
* Work cross functionally to troubleshoot issues and make sound decisions
* Drive continuous improvement, always looking for safer and smarter ways to work
What You'll Bring:
* People leadership experience in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment
* Packaging experience, ideally within FMCG or beverage manufacturing
* Working knowledge of SAP in an operational or production setting
* Confidence leading autonomously in a dynamic environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and coach
* A solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
