About The Role
Eureka Villages is looking for a dedicated daytime Chef to join our team in Orange on a permanent full time basis. This role will prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals for residents, ensuring dietary needs are met while maintaining a safe, efficient kitchen environment. This role works Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts and 7:00am starts (start time can be flexible to support work‑life balance).
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipe standards.Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring proper training, teamwork, and efficient workflow.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service and a positive customer experience.
About You
Proven culinary experience, with expertise in preparing a variety of dishes and working in fast-paced kitchen environments.Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen equipment management, including your Certificate in Commercial Cookery. A passion for food, with creativity and attention to detail in menu planning, food presentation, and flavour to satisfy pre-employment checks, including a National Police History Check.
