Job Overview
We're seeking skilled Roadworkers to join our infrastructure project in Dubbo.
The role involves paving and maintaining roads, preparing surfaces, applying materials, and working on bridge construction and maintenance.
The successful candidate will hold a white card, driver's licence, and traffic control ticket.
* Paving and maintaining roads, parking areas, and pathways
* Preparing surfaces by removing topsoil, digging for cables or pipes, and smoothing areas for new construction
* Applying materials such as bitumen, concrete, gravel, and asphalt to surfaces
* Installing road markings and bituminous sealing materials
Key Responsibilities
Paving and Maintenance: Our team is responsible for constructing and maintaining roadways, car parks, and pedestrian paths. This includes laying down asphalt, concrete, and other materials to create durable surfaces.
Surface Preparation: As part of our process, we prepare the ground by removing debris, topsoil, and other obstacles to ensure a smooth surface for new construction.
Material Application: We apply various materials to the prepared surface, including bitumen, concrete, gravel, and asphalt. This requires attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
Bridge Construction and Maintenance: In addition to roadwork, our team is involved in bridge construction and maintenance. This includes installing safety features, repairing damaged structures, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
