About this Role
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Albany. The successful candidate will provide support and accommodation to customers, helping them achieve their life goals.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting person-centred plans that identify customer life goals;
* Assisting customers with daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering, toileting, and medication administration;
* Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed;
* Administration duties and mandatory reporting.
Requirements
* Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
* Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
* An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
* Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity;
* A valid driver's license and willingness to use your private vehicle.
