The Role:
One of Australia's leading audio production companies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administration Coordinator to join our team in a dual support role across administration & HR.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities that span both people-focused HR support and essential back-office administration. This role will also provide leave coverage for both payroll and administration, as required.
Key Responsibilities:
HR & Payroll
•Assisting with weekly payroll, as required.
•Assist with the administration of WHS documentation, including; SWMS preparation, and assist with monitoring WHS compliance, as directed.
•Facilitate Return-to-Work programs, and Workers Compensation Claims.
•Provide general administrative support for HR including but not limited to: filing paperwork; maintaining employee registers; tracking of leave, training completion, annual reviews & completion of probation; and undertaking other HR activities, as requested.
Administration
•Manage daily administrative tasks including phone and email communications, assisting with courier/freight bookings, raising purchase orders and providing general office support, as directed.
•Provide ongoing assistance to the operations team; including but not limited to crew scheduling, invoicing, data entry, and booking labour, and assist with staff travel and accommodation bookings, as required.
•Organise staff meetings and events, including minute taking, issuing staff invites, and arranging external training for staff as directed.
Skills and experience
To be considered for this position applicants must meet the essential criteria listed below:
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role, experience in human resources would be highly advantageous.
•Experience in the live entertainment industry would also be highly advantageous.
•Experience with payroll and accounting systems is desirable (Employment Hero is highly desirable).
•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and other software/systems.
•Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
•Great communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
•Demonstrated organisational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.Demonstrated positive work ethic and the willingness to learn new systems.
