**Support Worker Role Overview**
We are seeking experienced Support Workers with great availability to support adults with complex mental health, psychosocial disabilities, and intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model.
This role involves physically demanding tasks and hands-on duties such as personal care, manual handling, and the use of hoists in a complex environment.
Our ideal candidate will be supportive and inclusive, valuing every individual and promoting choice and control in their daily routines.
Key responsibilities include:
* Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
* Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients' current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport, and accessing the community safely.
* Working effectively within a team to provide a positive and safe environment for our clients.
Requirements include regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher, as well as flexible availability across a 24/7 roster including mornings, afternoons, and active/sleepover nights.
Successful applicants will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check.
