Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer who can provide support to the daily operations of a large transport company at the Port of Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and demonstrate an ability to be flexible while completing adhoc administrative duties. This is a great opportunity for an administrative professional who is looking for long term employment opportunities, can roll with the punches and is highly organised when managing multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
* To provide outstanding levels of administrative support to the daily operations of a large freighting company
* Have high level of accuracy and attention to detail with data entry tasks
* Demonstrate high level of organisation skills and managing priorities calmly
* Have a high level understanding of clerical duties
* To present oneself in a positive and professional manner at all times.
* To aim to build strong and positive business relationships with customers and end users.
* Can create promotion signage for fundraising and special events each month
* Set up board room for meetings, ensure all resources are available and take minutes where applicable
* To co-operate by willingly participating and supporting team decisions, being a good team player.
Qualifications And Skills
* A certificate in Business Administration or at least 2 years admin experience required
* High level of knowledge with all MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
* Be creative and able to create marketing signage
* Highly organised
* Resilient
Details
* Monday to Friday - flexible to start at either 7.30am or 8.30am
* Casual role, offering full time hours, potential to lead to permanency
* Port of Brisbane Location
* Full long term working rights required
* Must have own vehicle and drivers license
* $37.13 per hour casual rate
