We're seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team in Brisbane. This is a high-impact, field-based role working alongside our highly experienced After Sales team. You will support customers across diverse healthcare settings, providing expert technical support for medical and healthcare equipment within aged care, hospital and home care environments.

THE ROLE
As a Service Technician, you will build trusted customer relationships by servicing healthcare equipment – delivering professional, high-quality solutions that support safe and effective care.
This customer-focused role offers the opportunity to enhance customer satisfaction, deliver exceptional service outcomes and contribute to Active Medical's continued growth. This role is primarily focused on Metro Brisbane, with occasional travel to regional Queensland as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Expert Technical Support: Troubleshoot faults, perform repairs and complete preventative maintenance servicing and audits, ensuring compliance with medical device manufacturer and regulatory standards.
* Technical Reporting: Maintain detailed service logs and reports for all activities using system tools (Hubspot, Knack). Identify parts requirements and liaise with internal team to ensure efficient job completion.
* Customer Satisfaction: Build strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and delivering exceptional service experiences. Provide customer product training and education where required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
* Experience: Minimum 2-3 years technical servicing, maintenance, field service or similar role. Practical healthcare industry experience desired.
* Technical Ability: Strong repair and fault diagnosis skills, with a logical mindset and attention to detail.
* Worker Screening: COVID vaccination; willing to obtain NDIS Clearance, Police Check, and Blue Card.
* Attributes: Honest, reliable and professional, with a positive, caring and solutions-focused approach. Willing to travel as required, including interstate and overnight stays.
* Customer Focus: Well-presented, strong communication and face-to-face skills, committed to ethical client interactions that build trust and rapport.
