Randstad is excited to partner with a quick-growing Australian tech brand that is redefining the wireless charging space as it launches its first-ever physical store. This company has a strong presence in the e-commerce space and a loyal customer base, and it is expanding into a physical retail environment at Westfield Marion.
About The Role
We are seeking energetic, reliable, and customer-focused retail staff to represent this innovative brand on a casual basis. You will be engaging with customers, demonstrating cutting-edge wireless charging accessories, and providing an excellent shopping experience. Confidence in explaining product features and the ability to meet sales goals will be key to your success.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and demonstrate tech products. Bring the products to life!
- Process sales efficiently using a POS system (experience with Shopify POS is a plus).
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
- Maintain the kiosk's appearance to ensure it is clean, tidy, and visually appealing.
- Assist with inventory checks and management.
About You
You have previous retail sales experience, ideally within the tech, lifestyle, or accessory sectors. You're a confident and enthusiastic communicator who enjoys helping customers and explaining product features. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and a great team player. You must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, late nights, and during peak retail seasons.
Role Details
- Location: Westfield Marion (Adelaide)
- Start date: Immediate start through to the new year.
- Pay rate: Casual hourly rate with penalty rates for weekends and public holidays. Future commission structures are planned.
- Progression: There is an opportunity to be promoted to a Lead Role for the right candidate, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pop-up store.
