SITE SUPERVISOR

Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Site Supervisor to join our team who can work autonomously & collaboratively with a wide range of skill levels. You will be responsible for the construction of multi storey, medium density projects as well as stand alone residential. Reporting to the Building Manager you will be responsible for the supervision of qualified groups of subcontractors to convert client's contract, schedules and plans into completed dwellings suitable to handover.
To be successful in this role, you will be responsible for:
* Managing several residential projects across Adelaide
* Ensure projects meet budgets, timelines and confirm with all approved documentation.
* As required meet with building inspectors, suppliers, trades and clients.
* Have up to date knowledge of OH&S and other legislative requirements
* Introduce new trades as required to maintain a high standard for build quality.
* Provide accurate weekly project updates to the Construction team.
About You
It would be considered advantageous if you had:
* Experience in a similar role as a Site Supervisor working across residential projects and medium density & multi unit sites.
* A carpentry trade qualification within the building industry with be advantageous.
* Must be working towards obtaining a Building Supervisors licence or willing to commence the process.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to accurately interpret plans and specifications.
* Strong organisation and problem-solving skills, being able to effectively communicate with a diverse customer group.
* Ability to work well to timelines and complete projects to a high standard.
* The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner.
* A proactive team player with an enthusiastic attitude
* Address client concerns in a prompt and professional manner
* An understanding of NCC and Australian Standards
* Must hold a current South Australian driver's license.
* A stable career history and good reputation
