The role within Slimstock Australia
We are looking for a supply chain/distribution expert to work as a consultant within our growing and dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of demand planning and procurement processes within the supply chain/distribution sector and therefore will have experienced the challenges first-hand.
The main responsibility is to lead the new customer implementation process and deliver ongoing consulting / yearly reviews to existing and new customers to optimise their business processes.
Each project is normally 3 – 6 months. You will be part of an Australian team of consultants. Each client implementation team has 2-4 projects going on at any one time.
Work will be mixed with up to 20% of your time spent on-site with clients and you will be at our local office in Melbourne, 2 days or more a week when not traveling.

Permanent residency in Australia
Capability to learn new software and processes, with the ability to communicate what you have learned to others both from a functional and operational perspective.
Problem-solving and analysis skills, relying on your organisational and people management skills, and project management experience.
Eye for detail and documentation.
Strong, open, and direct communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Advanced Excel, or Power BI are desirable.

Job Description
Advise customers on supply chain processes, project management, implementation, and configuration of the Slim4 software solution. Key user training of operational and tactical employees.
Grow into leading Slim4 implementations including managing the project plan and customer team.
Leverage our project management tools for weekly project updates and status reports, including issue and change management tracking.
Clear communication of implementation status, issues, risks, and effort.
Understand customers' requirements and apply Slim4 best practices.
Establish and oversee the customer's initial adoption, training, and development of best practices to build a strong foundation before and during the initial rollout.
Provide customers with knowledge on performing advanced analysis of supply chain scenarios.
Function as the voice of the customer and provide internal feedback on how Slim4 can serve our customers better.
Support the pre-sales and sales team as requested.
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Organisational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL/Scripts/Procedures & Power BI is a plus but not required.
Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks.
Cultivate and maintain client relationships, articulating the value of Slimstock's software solutions.
Willingness to travel domestically for customer project kick-offs and end-user training (up to 20%), passport requested for international projects/training.
Position is based in the Melbourne area.
Current Victorian Driver's License.
At least 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in planning and inventory optimisation.
Experience with planning software.
University level education in Supply Chain or logistics is preferred, but not essential.
