We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Pipefitter to join our team. This role is workshop based in our busy Cannington workshop and the ideal candidate will have a background in piping, plate and general fabrication and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Pipe fitting experience (essential)
* Plate fabrication (chutes and hoppers)
* Structural Steel fabrication experience
* Stainless Steel fabrication
* Competent with Flux Cored Welding (not essential but would be a bonus)
* Keen eye for Quality
* Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
* Perform dimensional inspections to ensure that all fabrication meets necessary standards and specifications.
* Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and promote a safe working environment.
* We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Pipefitter with an eye for quality. We are not seeking an MEM/HME style bucket bashing boilermaker for this role.
